Industry Knowledge ----Requirements for Precision Cutting Processing Technology

Processing technology with extremely high precision and surface quality

Precision cutting technology is a metal processing technique with a machining accuracy of less than 0.1 μ m and a surface roughness Ra between 0.02~0.1 μ m,

including precision turning, milling, and boring methods

This process relies on high-precision machine tools and fine grinding tools, using extremely small cutting depths and feed rates for micro cutting. Its development covers

ultra precision machining of diamond tools, optimization of high-speed cutting processes, and application of thermal error compensation technology, which can achieve

nanoscale machining

This process originated from the single point diamond cutting technology developed by the United States in the late 1950s, and was first used to process precision parts

such as laser fusion mirrors. In 1996, the Japanese Mechanical Engineering Laboratory developed a micro lathe that achieved micrometer level machining accuracy.

Modern technology combined with HSK tool holders, cold shrink clamping structures, and temperature stability control technology is widely used in the three-dimensional

free-form surface machining of aerospace, automotive molds, and other fields
